When Integral Calculus is on the go.. Boredom strikes once again..

Posted by | | 0 comments

I wrote this in the midst of calculus.. yeah i'm supposed to be studying right? :))
(Sorry for the low quality sound & video)

Last night
You said goodbye
I even thought we were fine
But you walked away
And left me hangin'
On a love that I thought would have a chance

I'm a little bit hopeless
Just a little bit broken
And can't you see I'm already out of my mind
But don't worry
I'm not asking for your love
Just an explanation

C:
Why you let me go
'Coz I am wondering
Did I do something wrong
'Coz I am thinking
That maybe I can change
Maybe I can wait
'Coz if you'll ever come back
I'm always here to stay..

My List of Must Have Books

Posted by | | 0 comments

These are the books that I wanna read and wanna have.. :)
(in no particular order)

1. Everlasting by Alyson Noel

Everlasting is the sixth and final installment of the epic love story that has enchanted readers across the world. Ever and Damen have spent centuries facing down bitter rivals, jealous friends and their own worst fears-all in the hope of being together forever. Now in Everlasting, their destiny is finally within reach.
Will they be united-or torn apart forever? Readers will finally discover the truth in this anxiously awaited conclusion!

2. Cloaked by Alex Flinn

I'm not your average hero. I actually wasn't your average anything. Just a poor guy working an after-school job at a South Beach shoe repair shop to help his mom make ends meet. But a little magic changed it all.
It all started with a curse. And a frognapping. And one hot-looking princess, who asked me to lead a rescue mission.
There wasn't a fairy godmother or any of that. And even though I fell in love along the way, what happened to me is unlike any fairy tale I've ever heard. Before I knew it, I was spying with a flock of enchanted swans, talking (yes, talking!) to a fox named Todd, and nearly trampled by giants in the Everglades.
Don't believe me? I didn't believe it either. But you'll see. Because I knew it all was true, the second I got cloaked.

3. A Kiss in Time by Alex Flinn

Talia fell under a spell . . . . Jack broke the curse.
I was told to beware the accursed spindle, but it was so enchanting, so hypnotic. . . .
I was looking for a little adventure the day I ditched my tour group. But finding a comatose town, with a hot-looking chick asleep in it, was so not what I had in mind.
I awakened in the same place but in another time—to a stranger's soft kiss.
I couldn't help kissing her. Sometimes you just have to kiss someone. I didn't know this would happen.
Now I am in dire trouble because my father, the king, says I have brought ruin upon our country. I have no choice but to run away with this commoner!
Now I'm stuck with a bratty princess and a trunk full of her jewels. . . . The good news: My parents will freak!
Think you have dating issues? Try locking lips with a snoozing stunner who turns out to be 316 years old. Can a kiss transcend all—even time?

4. Everafter by Amy Huntley

Madison Stanton doesn't know where she is or how she got there. But she does know this—she is dead. And alone, in a vast, dark space. The only company she has in this place are luminescent objects that turn out to be all the things Maddy lost while she was alive. And soon she discovers that with these artifacts, she can reexperience—and sometimes even change—moments from her life.
Her first kiss.
A trip to Disney World.
Her sister's wedding.
A disastrous sleepover.
In reliving these moments, Maddy learns illuminating and sometimes frightening truths about her life—and death.
This is a haunting and ultimately hopeful novel about the beauty of even the most insignificant moments—and the strength of true love even beyond death.

5. Fat Vampire by Adam Rex

Doug Lee is undead quite by accident—attacked by a desperate vampire, he finds himself cursed with being fat and fifteen forever. When he has no luck finding some goth chick with a vampire fetish, he resorts to sucking the blood of cows under cover of the night. But it's just not the same.
Then he meets the new Indian exchange student and falls for her—hard. Yeah, he wants to bite her, but he also wants to prove himself to her. But like the laws of life, love, and high school, the laws of vampire existence are complicated—it's not as easy as studying Dracula. Especially when the star of Vampire Hunters is hot on your trail in an attempt to boost ratings. . . .
Searing, hilarious, and always unexpected, Fat Vampire is a satirical tour de force from one of the most original writers of fiction today.

6. Timeless by Alexandra Monis

When tragedy strikes Michele Windsor’s world, she is forced to uproot her life and move across the country to New York City, to live with the wealthy, aristocratic grandparents she’s never met. In their old Fifth Avenue mansion filled with a century’s worth of family secrets, Michele discovers a diary that hurtles her back in time to the year 1910. There, in the midst of the glamorous Gilded Age, Michele meets the young man with striking blue eyes who has haunted her dreams all her life – a man she always wished was real, but never imagined could actually exist. And she finds herself falling for him, into an otherworldly, time-crossed romance.

Michele is soon leading a double life, struggling to balance her contemporary high school world with her escapes into the past. But when she stumbles upon a terrible discovery, she is propelled on a race through history to save the boy she loves – a quest that will determine the fate of both of their lives.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love: Movie Review

Crazy Little Thing Called Love: Movie Review

Carla, you are responsible for turning me into a drama/movie addict again. I never (ever) thought that there will come a time that I will be interested in watching a “Thai Movie.” Honestly, NEVER. Carla introduced me to this movie that she got addicted to, Crazy Little Thing Called Love. The first thing that came into my mind was that the title is really catchy. But I didn’t bother to watch the trailer. And then one day, I accidentally clicked this MV, I thought it was Chinese or Korean, but then the language was different. It’s Thai. I stopped the video after watching the first 1 minute. Why? ‘Coz it’s so darn good!
I’ll mark this day, January 30, 2011, as the very first day that I have watched a Thai movie. Am I emphasizing “Thai” too much? Haha. Well, the story started. There’s this girl, Nam, not pretty, just a normal one, who have a huge crush on Shone, the coolest and the most handsome guy in school. She and her friends bought this book that will make a guy notice them. Nam did every single step in order to capture Shone’s heart. Even if there’s a pretty girl liking him, she didn’t stop. Later on, their funny teacher invited them to join her club. And that’s where the magic started.

After the play where she starred as Snow White, she became beautiful throughout the movie. Let’s say her friend, Pin, was like a fairy god mother to her. One of my favorite parts is when Shone saved her from falling off the stage. Truly, it really looks like it was a fairytale. Everything was almost perfect, her being beautiful, top in class and a part of the marching band where she succeeded but there’s one thing that she still wanted the most, Shone. Shone’s best friend came and fell in love with Nam. It looked like Nam was using him in order to be with Shone even for a little while. But in the end, she made it clear that she never agreed on being his girlfriend. Another great scene!! Nam and Shone were sitting on a bridge. Shone told her a story about squids, a couple squids who fell in love with each other and held hands. Nam asked him if he ever held hands. And he answered her. He did, when he was trying to save someone from falling. AND THAT’S HER. But his best friend interrupted the whole scene. Haha.

So, let’s proceed with the story. I’m gonna jump off to the climax because this really interests me. After a few years of trying, Nam and her friends decided to do one thing…confess. It was during the last day of school I guess. Nam followed Shone in the swimming pool area to confess. She said that she had been in love with him for three years and that she did everything. She was crying back then when she gave him a white rose (a tradition I guess). Upon reaching it to him, she noticed a writing on Shone’s shirt, Pin loves Shone. He said that they were together for a week already. It broke her heart. She fell into the pool and just laughed. Poor Nam.

When Shone came home, the truth was revealed. All this time, he has been hiding the chocolate that Nam left on his motorcycle. All this time, he was taking pictures of her, pretty or not, as he said, she was the same as ever…cute. And I thought that Nam loved him more. But I was wrong, because after watching that scene, I realized that whoever she is, no matter what she looks like, he had fallen head over heels for her.
At the time when he saved her from falling, he cherished the moment so much because it was the first time that he held her hands. But he let go all of a sudden because he said that someone might notice it. He was also the one who left an apple with a bite on her table with a note that says that apple don’t have poison. It was really cute. When his best friend confessed to her, he was watching and his world fell apart. When they were together, he wished that he was the one in his best friend’s place. And it’s all because of a crazy little thing called love.

After 9 years of being a part with each other, they were reunited. He was waiting for her all this time..
Seriously, who wouldn’t think that Shone (Mario Maurer) is an ideal guy?
